E u r o p e a n S o c i e t y o f C l i n i c a l P h a r m a c y The overall aim of the Society is to develop and promote the rational and appropriate use of medicines by the individual and by society. As the new vice-president of ESCP I like to share some personal thoughts with you. When you are beginning with such new duties, you should – for a moment feel like Janus, the god of the ancient Romans with the two faces, one looking back, one looking ahead. You must recognise where you come from in order know where you want to go to.
